Monograms off Madison is now carrying Preppy Cards. I have loved the line for awhile and it made sense to bring it in now. The illustrations are so sweet and sophisticated you will love it too. We have more than 20 different designs on flat cards in the shop that we will personalize (all printing is done in house within 24 hours).
We also have lots of fun samples in the shop and can help you order everything from their accessory line like coasters,bag tags, backgammon boards, desk clocks, memo boards, wine tags and much more.
I don’t spend a lot of time on my hair or makeup and lately it’s been obvious. While most hair tends to frizz up in the humidity, mine gets heavy and hangs. I saw a commercial for the new Conair Spin Air and I ordered it. I have been using the same blow dryer from high school so I figured I could treat myself to this new gadget. I have to say, it’s pretty amazing! It’s going to take a few times to get used to it but after the first try my husband noticed the difference and a friend asked me if I got a blow out!
Here’s the story – it volumizes and shines as you dry, it’s like a round brush and blow dryer in one. The multidirectional brush rotates in both directions and it only took me a few seconds to figure out which direction to go when. My husband also loved that it was much quieter than the old 1986 blow dryer.
I love music; I wanted to be in the choir at church and sing in the plays at school. I tried piano for a while but that didn’t go so well. Musical talent is just not my thing although I do karaoke! I love a good piano bar, especially a sign-a-long type of place like The Club Car in Nantucket.
So when it comes to tunes for the shop, I am particular; music sets the mood. It needs to be mellow enough to not distract customers but not boring that it puts them to sleep. I just updated our playlist and here are some of my new favorites:

I’ve spent the summer shopping the tradeshows and ordering new merchandise for the shop. UPS and FedEx have been delivering boxes everyday and we’ve got a ton of new lines in the shop. We’re ready for the neighborhood to start hopping in September! We received this great felt line this week – how cute is this?!?!
The bookmarks retail for $10 and the party hats are $18, as always our prices include the personalization! Maybe if I had a cute monogrammed bookmark when I was young I would have wanted to read more.
