Amazing View & Great Food

Last week I went to a party at the Glasshouse at the Chelsea Art Tower.  Located on the 21st floor of 545 West 25th Street, it has an incredible view.  It was a gorgeous night and the catering was awesome – it was Olivier Cheng Catering & Events.  I worked with Olivier years ago and love his food.  He makes spinach taste good to me!  Anyway, if you have an invite to an event at The Glasshouse, go, you will enjoy the view for sure.

Notable Names

At Monograms off Madison we hear it all in the way of baby names.  We even have pregnant customers asking us for the scoop on names!  It’s always a fun discussion and I love offering up what we know from the baby gift orders we do.

My seven month old is Ella and I did not know how popular the name was when we choose it.  Popular or not, I love the name and I could talk for hours about name selection.  Here’s a list of some of the names we’ve embroidered lately:

Girls:  Mina, Mila, Perri, Jewel, Tierney, Mairin, Marion, Elena, Charlotte, Jane, Cooper, Grace, Sasha, Georgia, Georgina, Grayson, Arianna, Annie

Boys: Henry, Xavier, Joseph, Ryder, Brendan, Cooper, Jack, Jax, James, Ethan, Owen, Griffin, Jake, Blake, Andrew, William, Harry, Carter

Want to see how your babies name or monogram will look stitched out, just give us a call, we’d be happy to help you!

Revival of a Great Carnegie Hill Restaurant

Chef William Knapp has taken over Table d’Hote in Carnegie Hill and it is a very a welcome change.  His menu is small and selective and the ambiance is cozy; you feel like you’re in a little European Bed & Breakfast with NYC food.  It is truly a lovely experience and I promise you won’t be disappointed.  We’ve been for dinner and hosted my daughter’s Baptism lunch there, both were excellent.  Bill’s culinary experience is impressive (21 Club, Kraft, Boat House to mention a few) and his staff are delightful.  Try it soon before it’s too hard to get a reservation!
