We kicked off the Queen of Cashmere trunk show last night with a bang. Lots of customers stopped by for a sneak peak and put some beautiful color combinations together. By far my favorite booth at the National Stationery Show 2012 was Tara Wilson Designs! Tara’s line is modern yet classic and so super clean looking. Her booth design was creative but highlighted the product. And the product by the way is spectacular. I have one of the double sided lucite frames in my living room!
I shopped the National Stationer Show today. It was a lively atmosphere and I found some great new items for the shop. I love these oversize pads! I ordered them with single initials, zip codes and some fun designs.
I also got to catch up with Jeannette Yudes, a fellow Morristown-Beard graduate and co-founder of Peyton & Clark. Here’s a picture of Jeannette and her mom, the artist! I love their stationery line and am obsessed with their whimsical designs.
I finally got to see Haute Papier in person and will be carrying their silk stationery line. It’s really beautiful and will make such a lovely gift. Last week was wild here with Mother’s Day shoppers! We did lots of creative gifts and lots of pre-made single initial gifts for those who did not plan ahead… One of my favorite gifts was not even for a mom, it was for a grandmother. This Matouk Boudoir pillow in the Hadley pattern is so sharp! I hope she liked it!
