December 2010 O features our monogrammed stocking!
On opening day here at Monograms off Madison we received a call from Oprah Magazine. They needed a monogram stocking for their December issue and they needed it fast. But it was a little unusual, they wanted nine names monogrammed on the same stocking! I wasn’t sure how I was going to do this one…we went back and forth on fonts which gave me time to figure it out. We were thrilled with the outcome and a messenger picked it up the next day. Now, to see the stocking in the piece makes sense why nine names were on it. It was a terrific request for us on opening day and were thrilled we were able to provide what they needed!

Formed in 1981, CIVITAS is a union of citizens dedicated to improving and preserving neighborhood quality of life on the Upper East Side and in East Harlem.
The organization writes a blog to promote small businesses in the neighborhood – East Side Mom and Pops! In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to forget about the store around the corner. The blog/directory has been created by CIVITAS to draw attention to these businesses that need neighborhood support to thrive. Pretty Pink Tulips writes about us on week 2!
Elizabeth from Pretty Pink Tulips happened about our shop in our 2nd week of business. We had a very nice chat and then she told me about her blog. NY 1 pulls product before the shop is even open
Trend Expert Maggie Gallant heard about our store opening and requested monogrammed towels for a segment she was asked to report on for NY 1. Monograms off Madison was not even open yet as the opening was delayed but we were thrilled to lend her product. As you’ll see in the video they used our classic striped beach towel as an idea for hostess gifts or a treat for your weekend guests. We loved working with Maggie and Katie and glad we could provide a great product!
