CIVITAS East Side Mom and Pops writes about us
Formed in 1981, CIVITAS is a union of citizens dedicated to improving and preserving neighborhood quality of life on the Upper East Side and in East Harlem.
The organization writes a blog to promote small businesses in the neighborhood – East Side Mom and Pops! In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to forget about the store around the corner. The blog/directory has been created by CIVITAS to draw attention to these businesses that need neighborhood support to thrive. These “mom and pops” make a large contribution to our quality of life on the Upper East Side and in East Harlem. Below is their blog post from today:
