Veggies and more Veggies!

We are in week 4 of our CSA and we are up to our ears in veggies already.  We knew this would happen and the abundance is wonderful.  We participated in a CSA a few years ago and it was bountiful for sure.

What is a CSA?  It stands for Community Supported Agriculture and we’ve paid up front for a share of the season’s vegetables from the farm.  Each week we are informed of the harvest and we enjoy the surprise.  The farm is Stoneledge Farm, a 200 acre, certified organic farm located in the foothills of the Northern Catskills, Greene County, New York.  If you have ever thought of joining a CSA, go to Local Harvest to find more information and a delivery spot near you.  If you are lucky to hook up with Stoneledge Farm you will find that they are very well organized and their vegetables are outstanding.
